News & AnnouncementsSpaghetti Dinner Band FundraiserThe West Oak Music Boosters are hosting their annual Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, January 28 from 3pm to 7:30pm at West Oak Middle School. The West Oak Bands and Choirs will perform throughout the evening, and guests may bid on dozens of Silent Auction items donated by local businesses and organizations. A partial listing of items can be found on the district website on the West Oak Band & Choir pages. Hotel stays, sports memorabilia, services, and gift certificates to a wide variety of restaurants are among the items available. Dinner will be served from 4pm through 6:30pm and the event is open to the public. If so, please be sure you designate one of our schools with your card. That way when you spend money, the school makes money! Summer SchoolSummer School 2012 will be held June 11 - July 19, Monday through Thursday (No school July 4th), at West Oak Middle School for West Oak and Diamond Lake School students. Students will work on developing and maintaining academic and career readiness skills in the areas of reading, writing, computers, math, and Spanish. Further details about registration coming soon! Diamond Lake Educational FoundationThe Diamond Lake Education Foundation is officially operational. The organization has obtained 501(3)(c) status, making donations tax-deductible and allowing donors to take advantage of employer matching programs. Rachel's Challenge @ West OakStaff and students at West Oak remain committed to increasing acts of kindness and compassion in school, at home, and throughout the greater community.
